"COOL~~!!!"
That's my first reaction when I looked at it. I was amazed by the artistic attitude of the creator. By the way, I don't even know who is the creator in the first place. Some say they are nothing-to-do people who is looking for trouble. Some would say they are the best expressionist in the world. I am one of the latter one.
Graffiti.
What?
Daniel, you are out of your mind.
I was really bored at the shop I working part-time (Everkids Furniture) since there is no customer entering the shop. So, I took out my diary and start to think of something to do. I thought of Wern Chia in my mind. That's the first thing I thought of. Don't ask me why. Anyway, I just wanted to play around with my diary. I start scribbling her name on a page, then I began to draw, draw, draw, draw, draw, draw... shade, shade, shade, shade, shade, shade (with my M&G gel pen some more)... And eureka. I was quite shocked at the result.
Erm... Please do not mind the small words. They all are meaningless. Seriously. I was just having fun.
As I saw my own work, I started to ponder: Should I go into the world of graffiti? A response came from my head: Duh. While drawing this artwork, I was actually adding and adding and adding without even giving a damn about what's about to come out. I felt that this new hobby of mine is almost the same as dance freestyling: Act first, think later. If you were to look the the artwork closer, you will see a lot of miscellaneous things (or roughly, "ke-le-feh"). [Can you find a cat in the artwork?] But these things are the main factor why the artwork looked so detailed. Without these "ke-le-feh"-es, the artwork will looked empty literally.
Exactly like dancing. Small details make big difference.
In the future, maybe I will be drawing more sophisticated drawing and post it in my blog. It's time for me to explore in this new world. Cheerios.
