Gently pick your nose, please

Sigh.

How to understand Engineering Maths?!? Tomorrow is my lab session for convolution, and I believe it is the same experiment for my formal lab report. How to understand? At least Wikipedia give me some ideas what it is all about. (Who says Wikipedia is unreliable? They even include animations in explanation! Jakkun-ism here)

Exploding brain was pictured in my mind at this very moment.

Boohoo. I feel like a geek.

Sigh. Received lots of feedback about my dance, especially after Malaysian Night: you dance well, but YOUR FACE DON'T MATCH WITH YOUR DANCE. Arghhhh! Sad to have this geeky face. Plastic surgery? No way: can't afford to go dance classes still want facelift? Pftttt.

At least I have this element of surprise: "You don't believe I can dance?" and proceed doing a hand wave isolation. Cue stunned face from on-lookers and haha-in-your-face-with-my-face face (get it? 'in-your-face-with-my-face'? especially the 'my-face'? nevermind). Yes, I need some ego here 'cos I already lost it to my face. Sigh.

But please don't think that I dance to hide myself or my face. I love dancing for all I know.

Talking about dancing, Apple, Mac and Yoga had sharing sessions in Unific open classes which really, really made my week(s)! Looking forward for more of it! And hope that I pass the coming audition for Unific. (audition steps choreo-ed by Mel; omg confirm susah sia)

Yippee! Time to sleep early. Early bird catches the worm, and the always-overcrowded-at-the-wrong-time bus.

Banana unite, papaya all night~

Yay, got myself new shoes!

note the snickering smile that goes 'nyek nyek'

This shoes is DAMN CHIO TO WEAR. So chio, I will not be wearing it often, unless under some circumstances e.g. impress others LOL VAIN (and kiam siat).

Malaysian Night is over! It is one great event, even with some minor hiccups (and a very boredom inducing emcee aka omg-don't-try-to-emcee-anymore me T.T) everyone got very high at the end. There's homemade advertisements (brilliantly made by Teck Hong), video drama (directed dramatically by Chee Wah), sketch show by seniors (directed by Andrew; superbly funny until choked on saliva) and dance performances (Quen Seng owned everybody hands down). I'm glad it ends with a high note.

And from now on, I shall not commit myself into MSA events. But I can still help in minor ways (e.g. logistic handling aka carrying stuff =P). Reason: I need a break! And also to give opportunities to freshies to hold events. ;D

Had a HW210 meeting next morning; had to drag myself out of bed. Luckily we have a great project team! Choon Yee, William, Joanne and Sheng En, you guys rocks! Sorry for making you all wake up so early for this meeting.

Had a super huge mega steamboat session with Dinar-ians (my OG in MSA FOC). And the superlatives is just an understatement. The ingredients the freshies bought from Sheng Siong, they intended to stuff us all and do frequent checks by holding our index finger, which later will come to a point where they will eat us up (refer to Hansel and Gretel story; be warned that it has a violent ending, for the witch that is). Thank you Kok Kin for organising the steamboat ala 24 game sessions ala karaoke!

Tomorrow night is Unific sharing session! Woohoo! When it comes to dance, I'm like omg-so-excited-bite-my-finger. But...

Sigh. My freestyling degrade in level a lot recently. No idea why, but everytime I tried, it's will be those shit-I-ain't-comfortable-with-this feeling. I need more random session in my own room! Ahhhhh~~

To my inner subconscious: What? Tutorials? Oh. Darn.

Great, bite me finger

This week sounds exciting yo!

Tomorrow is NTU-MJ's audition, which I'm looking forward to! I want to see new faces, and fresh determination from those who are passionate in dance. It's really joyful to see somebody who just wants to dance, regardless of their skills. Hope that I don't embarrass myself by forgot steps. =P

This Saturday will be the Malaysian Night 2010! I'm gonna emcee for this event which will feature a lot of crazy stuff! Hope this event goes well! Hope I don't get tongue twisted at the wrong time. Hope that the crowd is enthusiastic. Hope that I don't offend anyone on stage. Hope that... Ahhhh!!

Got myself a new mini speakers and also earphones. Both doing very well. I named my mini speakers Minnie and my earphones Big Cow. Okay random I know.

Time to sleep early. Tomorrow 8.30am class. WAHLIAO. Can scream. Or shriek. Or agitated. Or exasperated (trying out words that I don't usually use in daily life, lolz; chim English FTW)

I'm joining the Bllion Onion Union

Year 1 students' life in NTU:

Enjoying every moment of the totally new lifestyle and environment

Enthusiastic about almost everything around him/her

Having random sessions with friends: board games, card games, watching movies, and plain chatting

Year 2 students' life in NTU:

Moaning every moment of the totally mundane and routine lifestyle and environment

Wished that everything around him/her grow legs and walkaway

Randomness becomes a repetitive patterns, e.g. not random

Just a year goes by, and reality taught us that too much of good things can be a bad thing.

Life is like a box of chocolates. Eat too much of it and obesity will strike you, unwanted freckles will devour your face, and blood clot will be your whining in the future.

I finally realized how important is it to have a positive mindset. To survive in NTU is like playing a game of atoms: surrounded by electron clouds, you gotta have a lot of proton or else you are so gonna be a negative charged atom.

How to stay positive? I heard chocolates can stimulate the release of endorphin hormones, which can make you happy...

Wait, didn't I say having too much of it will cause blood clot?

Sigh.

Oh yes, I came across a YouTube video that says about digital drugs.

DIGITAL DRUGS? I-DOSING?!?!?
Apparently hearing the audio will induce the 'high' that those conventional drugs gives.

And the audio is available in Youtube. And so I tried listening to one.

WHAT THE FUCK DAMN GIDDY LEH JUST HEARING IN FEW SECONDS.
[I immidiately close my Firefox and stunned for few long minutes; it's like a nightmare]

Damn scary. Some claim that it is not dangerous yet the 'high' is there (imagine all the drug users go 'YAY' and the drug dealers go 'wtfbbq').
Why in the world do you want to mess up other people's brain?!?!

And as a engineer, I have no idea that there are some frequencies of sounds that can induce 'high' in our brain.

What is the world going into? Why do you need something to get high?!?

My advice to heavy drug users out there:
get yourself a chocolate bar

And to any other readers out there:
STAY AWAY FROM DRUGS. Get yourself a chocolate bar.

Here, eat your fish

I can't deny that I almost lost touch of the blogging sense. Or maybe I already lost touch of it. Note the random title which I will be practicing for future blog posts.

Well, it's time to blog. No point keeping all the whining in my cerebrum.

Life in NTU is usual. Walk here, walk there, take a bus ride up to somewhere, walk, walk, walk, sit, stare, momentarily took a nap while listening to lectures...

Then walk, walk, walk, decide whether to take a bus ride back to hostel, stare at bulging belly, decided to walk back to hostel, then sit by the laptop...

Oh my goodness, the only time I snapped out of this zombieness is during dance classes or just dancing.

If I were to be in a game, it would definitely be Plants vs. Zombies. I will be the marching villains stepping into a yard full of vicious plants. And I will keep spawning until the time limit is over. Sigh.

Well, a quick update about my past life:

1. Had a very long holidays with family. During that period, 50% of me wants to go back to Singapore (cos that is the period when the dancing scene is HAPPENING) whereas the other 50% of me wants to stay in Malaysia (cos I just really love my family, especially after a year of not seeing them).

2. Went to Beijing with my mom. Everything in Beijing is so wonderful except the food they serve (nothing beats Malaysian food). Craziest thing I did is to climb the Great Wall of China and almost reach the top (cos the tour guide set us a time limit before gathering, damn kns)

3. Grew fat since the 2nd semester exams and during the holidays. Belly is clearly bulging to the point where I can't see my toes. TRIED EXERCISE on daily basis but failed.

4. Came back to Singapore. NTU offered my Hall of Residence 1 which is quite comfy. Love it. And looking forward to join the hall dance crew, Unific. =D

5. Realising that my freestyling is getting worse. Need more freestyling session.

6. Had a lot of events since the last blog post, few major ones: MSA Senior Camp, The Big Groove, MSA FOC 2010, etc....

7. Sick of some Malaysian's racist attitude. I actually cursed them with fully loaded muttering cuss words which I care not to list them here.

But for now, life is good (at the moment). Hence the rebirth of blogging.

Life is like a box of chocolates. So just eat it and enjoy.  =)
