A New Life...

School its about to start. Enrolled myself in Lower Six STPM. Given school was SMK Taman Sea, but my mom insisted of me to go to another school: Methodist Boys School.
.
Right in the middle of KL.
.
Well, I knew it was more convenient to go to SMK Taman Sea, but there were many advantages to go to Methodist Boys School.
.
First, my mom's a headmistress of a nearby school, which makes my transportation up to school easier (and for my dad too). Second, heard there was good teachers in the school and good tuitions around the area. Third...
.
It's KL~!!
.
Chi Chiong Kai is just a minute walk. Plaza Rakyat station gives me access to anywhere to any part of KL. I can even walk to Berjaya Times Square if I want. So here's the plan: I go to school and leave my handphone at my mom's office, then after school, I will take my handphone, and if there is no tuition, then I will rampage the streets of KL until my mom decides to go home.
.
Problem: My mom most of the time decide to go home by 5pm or 6pm latest. Which means I have to go back home myself most of the time. Have to take the Star train and switch to LRT
train back to Taman Bahagia station and walk home will takes up one hour of my time.
.
ONE HOUR GONE IN A DAY!!!
.
Oh well, what to do. Just do it, as Nike had said. Its something new to my routine of life and a totally different environment to live in.
.
Got my room ready for STPM books to fill:
See the empty spaces? Yup, for STPM books only.
.
Even got my table ready for studying.

I feel like starting to develop obsessive compulsive. Haha.

Coming to the end...

No, i don't mean my life or the end of the world. I have to say goodbye to the holidays (which is from 11th December 2006 to 14th May 2007). It is surprising that time goes by so fast. In this five months, I could say that it is really fun and just pure fun. It is quite sad as it had finally come to the end. The days where I could do anything i like was finally over.

I can still remember myself working in Everkids in One Utama, which brought back a lot of memories. Working for more than one month in a showroom was something that I didn't ask for, and was thankful for the experience. Working for MIFF (Malaysia International Furniture Fair) as an event staff was one heck of the tiring (especially the first day until the fourth day). Reason? Walking. Pathetic me. Promoting speakers for Edifier during PC Fair 2007 was a very new thing to me. It's like my skills have to start from scratch. That was real fun.

PC Fair 2007 and MIFF 2007 entrance pass

But one sad thing about the holidays: I overspent!

Receipts collected during the holidays

These receipts actually add up to RM434.61. And that was only the receipts. There are other things that I pay for and did not collect the receipt. So, I have estimated that I have used up RM500++ !!!

Wow, I wonder how I spent an average of RM100 per month...

I just love graffiti... dreamed to draw it on a wall... haha...

I've Made the Craziest Choice...

After the income tax payment, my family was a bit tight down in financial. Actually they wanted to buy the piano and sign me in for driving licence. But since the income tax (or D-day as pictured by everyone), my parents could only afford one of them: piano or driving licence. The other one will be delayed to the end of year.

Let's take a look at some points.

DRIVING LICENCE first, PIANO at the end of year

Pros:
I can start driving on the road. I do not need to ask and trouble my parents or any other people to fetch me to somewhere. I can provide transport to other people without feeling helpless. I can have freedom to travel anywhere I want and do anything I want. I will look cool holding the steering wheel. I can wear shades and will look cool holding the steering wheel. I can wear shades and will look cool holding the steering wheel with ONE HAND. *signs of desperation*

Cons:
My parents will start worrying about my safety. I will start worrying about my safety. I will start worrying about my passengers safety. I will start worrying about my car's safety (cost of maintenance is high, you know). I can't have conversation in the car while driving. Embarrassed to ask other people to fetch me in some circumstances. I have to pump the petrol using my own money.

PIANO first, DRIVING LICENCE at the end of year

Pros:
I can start playing piano.

Cons:
I can't get my driving licence.

After much thinking (I think it's a lot), I made my decision.

Piano first.

Alright, I know you all think I'm crazy, or some stupid idiot, or a selfish person. But here is an advantage: If I buy the piano first, then I prolonged my time to learn driving with my mother. For that, I can learn more before entering any driving academy. Besides that, by the time I enter the driving academy at the end of the year, I should be skillful enough to drive without troubling much to my instructor. I do not need to bribe the JPJ officers too.

Well, to tell you the truth, I was thinking of the piano when I made the decision. I have to admit I was quite selfish. But I was waiting for a piano like forever. *Sigh*

By the way, it's fun if I can drive on the road without licence. XD
