Whoa. Great day I had.

Having performed for Majlis Anugerah Cemerlang, I say it is a great experience for all of us dancers. Robson dropped fan also can continue dancing. Zhen Yao BROKE fan also can continue dancing. We entertained the crowd well (I think) and the overall performance is great. One thing I have to say: I was running around like a monkey. *sigh* Time to readjust my running moves.

I received many compliments from people, and the compliments belong to the group. We all put in effort to make it well and almost perfect, as well as the commitments we dilute in (including the commitment to go eat at Green Hut).

Thanks to the crew: Zhen Yao, Chun Wei, Robson Ng, Chern Chiang, Wei Chee, Zi Hao, Heng Choong, and Nicholas Wee.

Thanks to Chern Chiang's camera and Ha Nnah's hands for taking this performance.

I was really, seriously, literally, freaking tired, and that's worth it.

After performance, I went to the Region Kaikan in Kota Damansara to teach children on dancing. I finally figured out that teaching small children is extremely DIFFICULT. Simple steps are not simple to them. Teaching 28 children at the same time is madness. Luckily, they were quite disciplined and willing to learn the steps. Overall, I was satisfied, but still need improvement.

Now, I am really, seriously, literally, permanently, superlative-ly, 'no doubt'-ly, freaking tired.

But hey, I enjoyed myself the whole day. =D

Imagine I heard a joke today.

What do male's genital and Rubik Cube have in common?

The longer you play with it, the harder it gets.

>.< No offense.

My name is Daniel Siow.

Note the surname 'Siow'. There's a reason why it is there.

Sorry. Random thoughts.

It's been exactly one week since I blogged. Life is always about getting busier, right? Wrong. Life is all about doing what's best for us. So, I couldn't find the time to blog, since I'm doing my best in my activities (yeah, right; lame excuse).

Last Thursday is my first dance practice for Malam Mesra. Well, it is MY first, since I did not attend the last two practice. The dance is FREAKING tough (since contemporary dance is not my type), but it is fun to learn new things. Every practice got new steps (minimum four 8-steps). Sadly, I missed another practice last Sunday, so this Thursday's practice will be the 'noob' day for me. *Sigh*

Last Saturday was Janice's birthday party...

HAPPY BE-LATED BIRTHDAY JANICE!!!

Her condo was superb (and it's only temporary *gasp*), and the surrounding area is obviously superb. Each block has their own swimming pool. It may sound a bit absurd, but when I entered the compound, the weather decided that I do not deserved to be dry, so came the rain. Got myself wet, and have to change into my spare shirt, which LATER that night got wet again since I was pushed into the pool. Remember the song 'Point of No Return' in the Phantom of the Opera? Now it's 'Point-less of No Return'.

The party was fun, and since it was raining earlier on, Janice's family decided to have the party in the condo. What do you get if you have six family of relations, few neighbours, Janice's friends, and Janice's sister's friends all in a high-class condo? Imagine Zouk KL without music. Later when we went outside, Janice was pushed into the pool, and moments later I got pushed into the pool (why? o.o), which leaves me no more spare clothes to change. Luckily, Janice's dad willingly fetched me home although I was still a bit wet, which I am really grateful. Thanks Uncle Lim!!! By the way, your cakes ROX!!!!!!

The new week started with queerism. Why are we having Majlis Anugerah Cemerlang rehearsal EVERYDAY??? Maybe the organiser wants to be a perfectionist, but perfection has a limit. Goodness knows how many periods of lessons have we wasted? Especially Monday, whereby I waited from after recess (11.30am) until 1.40pm before the performances can start rehearsing. TWO HOURS OF MY LIFE could have being used for better purposes, like... erm... nevermind then.

This week is another one of those average hectic-ism week. Got the Majlis Anugerah Cemerlang's performance to perfect, a dance to learn for Malam Mesra, and a dance to teach for JD fun day's end of the year performance.

By the way, you guys gotta watch 'So You Think You Can Dance' premiering on the 1st of May. My dance instructor is gonna rocked the stage ALIVE. In addition to that, I will be appearing on TV for a while, since the 8tv crew came to Bunka Kaikan to interview few people (sadly not me T.T).

Ah Hong!!!
You can,
you can,
you can,
you can,
you can,
you can,
you can,
you can
DANCE~!!!!!!

Wa. Ha. Ha. Bam. Ting. Wink. Bing. Jeng.

Recently the whole week we were killing ourselves with lame jokes from all over the place. Worst jokes that is so 'cold' that you felt like killing the speaker (I think the best joke so far is Chiew Wai's "Yea~!!!" joke...). In addition to that, many funny things happened these few days, and currently I could only remember this week's events:

  • Mok Wai Kit frighten our chemistry teacher, Pn. Chan, with his 'MOK' face
  • Miss Yap showed me her fist when I answered her Math's question wrongly (Me: "It's negative one... (fist showing)... zero!!!")
  • Wen Chean's intention to kill *censorship board's doing* literally
  • Mok Wai Kit trying to be 'macho' (try not to vomit your last meal... =P)
  • Sharing our cold jokes with Pn. Goh
  • Hannah and I discussed about 'dumb blonde's slang' during tuition
  • Me trying to pronounce 'Phenolphthalein' and 'Sphere'; since then, not much improvement
  • Me thanking Pn. Tay instead of Pn. Chan at the end of lessons, since Pn. Chan took over her lessons temporary
  • DINESH TALKING CANTONESE!!! (with perfect slang)

This is my version of entertainment; better than watching 'Sweeny Todd: The Barber of Fleet Street'. I felt happier nowadays and also lots more motivated. It seems school is the best place to be (under certain conditions). Now at least I'm not mentally or emotionally tired. In fact, I'm cured (except my stubborn physical tiredness).

Laughter is the best medicine.

So, keep laughing. =D

Crazy week. I was referring to April of 7th 'till the April of 11th.

Wait. I mean 7th of April to 11th of April.

Yikes. Me are confusing.

Most of the busy schedule are in the afternoon and night time. For the first time, morning seems to be the most relaxing time of a day. Ironically, school seems to be the most relaxing place to be [Please do not condemn me.]

Monday afternoon I had dance practice for Majlis Anugerah Cemerlang. That night had a sketch practice for upcoming Chinese discussion meet next week. Tuesday afternoon got Physics tuition. Same night I had a preparation meet-up for HSD meet with my friends. Wednesday afternoon once again had dance practice. Spent 4 hours on the same night doing powerpoint slides for upcoming HSD meet. Thursday afternoon I had Physics tuition. Thursday night I tried to complete the powerpoint slides and also planning on how to bulit a parachute on the rocket (which later failed to open). Friday afternoon had badminton club (yes, I'm a member; don't laugh at me). Friday night was the HSD meet itself (quite a failure; message do not really get across and the meeting was too serious). And later that same night is night duty in Bunka Kaikan (which I was sooooooooo tired already until I did not do my job well; sorry Vis).

Now, I feel very emotional tired. Hard to stay cheerful after all this.

Good thing there is no HAD practice this Sunday, because seriously, I am really, really tired in every aspect; physically, emotionally, spiritually, mentally and soundly(?).

I need a rest. Now.

*Sigh*

Life has its' ups and downs, I learnt.

It's like climbing over mountains. One ever wonders when the Transportation Ministry will build a tunnel through it. I mean, when life is going to be any easier. Never, many will say.

Last Saturday was the Anti-Dadah day. The Domino Pizza sales by the Sivic and Charity club was quite fun, with the competitive spirit with our self, that is to sell as many pizza as possible. Actually, the 50% of the sales wasn't really our club's effort, but Pn. Goh's effort to push BOXES of pizzas to teachers. I even thought that pizzas boxes are mysteriously disappearing in some sort of invisible (duh) Bermuda Triangle. Thanks to everyone for making big effort in every possible way to make it a success and fun at the same time!

That afternoon was the Junior Division Fun Day at Kota Damansara's Regional Kaikan. Fun Day is literally fun day for most of the kids; less lectures about Buddhism, MAXIMUM FUN for them!!! My team and I were in the dance group; that is, to teach them to dance until the end of the year. We all had fun during the first briefing session with the kids. Me and Wai Kit (NOT Mok Wai Kit, by the way) got to choreograph a dance by the end of this week (gasp). Hope it will turned out well.

By the way, I heard my dance instructor (correction from last post: he is dance instructor from California Fitness in Mid Valley. Sorry for mistake) is already in the Top 20! He made it through the camp!!! We are so gonna vote for him non stop throughout the Top 20 competition!!!

Sunday morning was the down part.

Had being lectured by my father and mother, they constantly keep telling me to focus on my studies and stop attending activities from all over place (which includes school activities). They thinks that I should be more hardworking in my STPM. He keeps nagging about people outside who couldn't afford anything because of not choosing career properly, talked about his family background, comparing me to others, and the MOST annoying part is insulting the music industry. Keep talking about how poor musicians are, and I should be doing something better than JUST playing piano. That moment I got so FUCKING PISSED, but kept silent. I know they cared for my future, but it's just pisses me off.

I wasn't even thinking of STPM, but they put me there in the first place. And all I do is hope that everything will go well and I will do whatever I can since I'm already in STPM. But insulting my passion is JUST TOO MUCH. I always wanted to be a pianist, and there they were talking bullshits about it. I can't describe how mad and depressed I was.

Luckily my parents aren't the ones bringing me up to Cheras for dance practice. Or else I would have opened the door and jumped out into the highway.

At dance practice: coincidentally is contemporary. I really let go all the way during the practice. After the practice, I was relaxed again, since contemporary is all about expressing myself. Never in my life I could transform my mood so fast (in just three hours). I got into the happy mood again, hoping that "everything will go well and I will do whatever I can since I'm already in STPM". (groan) But what to do. Just face it.

Oh well. That's the end of the week. And the end of the month too.

Lee Mei, do well in Singapore!!! Wish you all the best!!!

Tomorrow is APRIL FOOL. And today I got caught by prefects for my long hair (???). Luckily the hair cut has no charge, and the 'barber' really did a well job with my... er... fringe?

Had a tiring week. More to come in this week still.

On Thursday, all Form Sixth students attended talks from KDU, Help Uni/Coll, and Taylor's. Managed to learn a lot from it, and all talks were really hyped up interesting. The guy from Help University was the best among the whole day, to the point I want to reconsider whether to pursue Physcology in the future (the guy presenting is one of the dean in Faculty of Behavioral Science). Overall, I had a great day.

Friday is the heat's day (that's what Wen Chean called it in the blog; I don't know the English word for "saringan"). I spend the whole day taking care of bags and box, since I wasn't involved in any activities. Sad case for me, but what do you expect from a guy like me??? Whole day spent reading Hannah's essay for IMPAC Dublin essay competition. Quite good, I do believe that her essay will be shortlisted. Later after the heat's day (WHY DO THEY CALL IT HEAT'S DAY??? WAS IT THE WEATHER THEY WERE REFERRING TO???), had a Sivic Meeting. Domino pizza gave away SEVEN gold card to the school, and Pn Gan gave to Pn Goh to give to us Sivic members. Almost all AJK members got it (except me, Evelyn and Ken Kent; we rejected the card since we had one). I was really happy since the AJK's efforts in the club had been repaid for what they did. Thanks to Domino Pizza!!!

Now we can eat 7 pizza with another 7 pizza free. *too much*

Later that afternoon, few of us played badminton. I finally got myself a badminton racket, thanks to Robson, Zhi Wang and Chee Kar. Played like a noob, as usual, but enjoyed myself with overdoing fake acrobatic jumps. Syok sendiri. =p Of course, the fun factor was great. Planning to join the badminton club next week.

Tomorrow will be very hectic. Morning have to deal with the sales of the Pizzas. Afternoon have to attend the JD Fun Day. At night... MUST RELAX AR, since next day got dance practice, and also have to find new steps for the MAC's 'Huo Yan Jia' dance. Head already spinning now. Shall we calculate the centripetal force of my head? Nonono. I believe the moment of inertia of my head is very large at the sides but empty in the middle. Goodness.

Now listening to Leo Ku's "情歌王" (translated as 'love song king'; I know, translation's too direct). Dubbed as "劲歌金曲 no.2", the song is 12 minutes long since it is a mix of different types of love songs. Although the song wasn't as grand as "劲歌金曲" (less instrumental and orchestra as before), the song is VERY NICE! A recommendation to all!!!

Deng. I blabbed too much.
