Exams over. (Who don't know that?)

This week is going to be another hell in making.

Already my slide show have to redo again due to many reasons (not suitable, style changed, change in agenda, etc.), which is giving me headache. But of course, I will do my heck of the best to make sure it will be damn good. *Please note Daniel is trying to give himself confidence, or shall we say, false hope?* By the way, I'm researching on Herbie Hancock, which makes me quite semangat. The more I research, the more I want to be a musician. ARGH~!!! =X

This week already doing my driving with the "L" on the forehead. Second day of lessons already my instructor asked me to drive on the road, which is turned out not bad. Most likely because he has the brake pedal at the passenger seat. Haha. Felt like my journey was smooth even at 4th gear.

Oh, by the way, congratz to Su Yuen for getting 4.0 gpa in Matriculation. I expected you to get better, anyways, like 4.1 gpa points. XD

End of this week is GFG. WAAA~!!! Challenge~!!!

Tommorrow go back to school for chemistry practicals. Back to the old days. =D

Life can be hard on you.
So, be hard on your life.

Exams were really difficult, especially Chemistry and Economy. It was madness back then. Maybe it was due to my ignorance to study EARLIER. Last minute study isn't good. Deng.

But, have to keep a positive mind for the next exams. Next week is going to be hell (quote from Wen Chean) with Physics, Maths T and Macroeconomy. And yet I'm still in front of my computer, waiting for 8tv's "So You Think You Can Dance" video recaps to upload.

My instructor's name is Rain Ong.

Rain? Since when he called himself Rain??? Lol...

By the way, his dancing technique rocked like... unable to describe. I constantly see him appearing in cameras dancing only. Note that he is a man with few words. So good, that the camera crew only focuses on those who aren't good (don't believe? See it for yourself... XD). Spoilers: He is already in the Top 20, so what do you think of his capability?

Go, Rain, go! Make us proud!

WAAAA!!! EXAMS AR~!!!

Oh well, this is life. Where scholarships are rejected and people are complaining.

I have two theories on why many scholarship's applicant has been rejected.

1. The applicant has only great outstanding qualification in academic sense, yet not so active or even unactive in society clubs or sports. This shows that scholarships are looking for outstanding people with a potential future to lead the world and contribute to the society, not to score in exams only.

2. The Malaysian way of selecting scholars was quite one sided. I can't explain futher due to the "Democracy" (Pronounced: "There's more crisis") of the country.

Although we can't really do anything for the second point (except voicing out and let 'them' screw you back), but we should focus back to ourselves, rather than go on complaining (with exceptions for Fu Han, who really deserve to get any scholarships) [Fu Han! Go and reactive your blog again!!! Don't let 'Democracy' stop you!!!]. This doesn't mean you must be good in everything and be AKAP (as kiasu as possible), but this means to excel in whatever you do best. I believe everyone of us is good in so many ways, whether it is in sports, organization or society. We all have the capability to be great leader and contribute back in the society. It's impossible that we can be good in studies ONLY.

I daresay 40% of the scholarship applicants are turned down is because of this factor. Getting good results only don't gurantee you to survive in the real, bad-ass world. The world out there needs people like us to lead in the future.

By the way, that doesn't mean you should focus on your passion only and forget about your studies. By all means, study not for the sake of scoring in exams, but for the sake of the knowledge.

Conclusion: Don't be a nerd like me. Thank you.

Argh~!!! Got to study for exams!!!

Daniel is stressed.

First of all, I have to make the video for GFG out as soon as possible in the middle of exams. Then I rejected Pn. Goh's invitation to do dance perfromance during teacher's day (exam period... how to practice); I feel bad about rejecting it (maybe I should make it up; but how???). I totally forgotten about passing the GFG recruitment form to Ming Long and Suet Er. Monday is Chemistry and yet I'm practicing my Mathematics and studying Economics. I am skipping two dance practice because I wanna study (which apparently I almost failed to do so). My computer has been reformatted (virus attack), so I couldn't spend time on the video. In the middle of my exams, I have to go for dance rehearsals.

Argh~!!! The list goes on and on!!!

Daniel! Breathe!!! (stand-by medical unit gave Daniel a CPR)

*cough* *cough*

And I spent two hours online finding out how Rain (Bi) dance. In the end, I learnt nothing. Great.

Argh~!!!

Dilemma of an absent-minded STPM student

Lately, I felt more relaxed than usual after the performance in MAC. But days later, reality struck me real hard. My mind screamed at me: 'EXAMS LA, YOU DONKEY!!'

Then more challenges arises.

GFG (Galactic Future Group) is going to have a camp on the 30th of May. I am to prepare a slideshow (or video) of people whom have achieved their dream (namely Martin Luther King, Nelson Mandela, Mathama Ghandi, etc.). The whole agenda's purposes is to adjust everyone mindset that we have the capability to achieve our dreams (in terms of studies, career, personal goals, society, etc.). It is going to be hardddd... Well, let's do it then. =D

The dance for Malam Mesra is getting harder and harder (did i just repeated this phrase?).

Exams are coming. And I am so not prepared whatsoever. I never worry about my exams, and this is worrying me (sorry for confusion).

I am spending most of my time playing the piano and dancing. Not good.

Donkey! Wake up!!! =X

Whoa. Great day I had.

Having performed for Majlis Anugerah Cemerlang, I say it is a great experience for all of us dancers. Robson dropped fan also can continue dancing. Zhen Yao BROKE fan also can continue dancing. We entertained the crowd well (I think) and the overall performance is great. One thing I have to say: I was running around like a monkey. *sigh* Time to readjust my running moves.

I received many compliments from people, and the compliments belong to the group. We all put in effort to make it well and almost perfect, as well as the commitments we dilute in (including the commitment to go eat at Green Hut).

Thanks to the crew: Zhen Yao, Chun Wei, Robson Ng, Chern Chiang, Wei Chee, Zi Hao, Heng Choong, and Nicholas Wee.

Thanks to Chern Chiang's camera and Ha Nnah's hands for taking this performance.

I was really, seriously, literally, freaking tired, and that's worth it.

After performance, I went to the Region Kaikan in Kota Damansara to teach children on dancing. I finally figured out that teaching small children is extremely DIFFICULT. Simple steps are not simple to them. Teaching 28 children at the same time is madness. Luckily, they were quite disciplined and willing to learn the steps. Overall, I was satisfied, but still need improvement.

Now, I am really, seriously, literally, permanently, superlative-ly, 'no doubt'-ly, freaking tired.

But hey, I enjoyed myself the whole day. =D

Imagine I heard a joke today.

What do male's genital and Rubik Cube have in common?

The longer you play with it, the harder it gets.

>.< No offense.

My name is Daniel Siow.

Note the surname 'Siow'. There's a reason why it is there.

Sorry. Random thoughts.

It's been exactly one week since I blogged. Life is always about getting busier, right? Wrong. Life is all about doing what's best for us. So, I couldn't find the time to blog, since I'm doing my best in my activities (yeah, right; lame excuse).

Last Thursday is my first dance practice for Malam Mesra. Well, it is MY first, since I did not attend the last two practice. The dance is FREAKING tough (since contemporary dance is not my type), but it is fun to learn new things. Every practice got new steps (minimum four 8-steps). Sadly, I missed another practice last Sunday, so this Thursday's practice will be the 'noob' day for me. *Sigh*

Last Saturday was Janice's birthday party...

HAPPY BE-LATED BIRTHDAY JANICE!!!

Her condo was superb (and it's only temporary *gasp*), and the surrounding area is obviously superb. Each block has their own swimming pool. It may sound a bit absurd, but when I entered the compound, the weather decided that I do not deserved to be dry, so came the rain. Got myself wet, and have to change into my spare shirt, which LATER that night got wet again since I was pushed into the pool. Remember the song 'Point of No Return' in the Phantom of the Opera? Now it's 'Point-less of No Return'.

The party was fun, and since it was raining earlier on, Janice's family decided to have the party in the condo. What do you get if you have six family of relations, few neighbours, Janice's friends, and Janice's sister's friends all in a high-class condo? Imagine Zouk KL without music. Later when we went outside, Janice was pushed into the pool, and moments later I got pushed into the pool (why? o.o), which leaves me no more spare clothes to change. Luckily, Janice's dad willingly fetched me home although I was still a bit wet, which I am really grateful. Thanks Uncle Lim!!! By the way, your cakes ROX!!!!!!

The new week started with queerism. Why are we having Majlis Anugerah Cemerlang rehearsal EVERYDAY??? Maybe the organiser wants to be a perfectionist, but perfection has a limit. Goodness knows how many periods of lessons have we wasted? Especially Monday, whereby I waited from after recess (11.30am) until 1.40pm before the performances can start rehearsing. TWO HOURS OF MY LIFE could have being used for better purposes, like... erm... nevermind then.

This week is another one of those average hectic-ism week. Got the Majlis Anugerah Cemerlang's performance to perfect, a dance to learn for Malam Mesra, and a dance to teach for JD fun day's end of the year performance.

By the way, you guys gotta watch 'So You Think You Can Dance' premiering on the 1st of May. My dance instructor is gonna rocked the stage ALIVE. In addition to that, I will be appearing on TV for a while, since the 8tv crew came to Bunka Kaikan to interview few people (sadly not me T.T).

Ah Hong!!!
You can,
you can,
you can,
you can,
you can,
you can,
you can,
you can
DANCE~!!!!!!

=D
