Flashback into 2008

Wow. 365 days spent. A year that was. Many things happen: Ups and downs, lefts and rights, fronts and backs, etc.

Sigh. No photo to show. Great, another blog post of words-only.

Note that it is not in chronological order.

Best moments:

*Performed comtemporary dance in Malam Mesra 6.15; fanstatic time! (the times where I have to go Cheras 7 nights in a row =D).

*Performed Chinese Fan Dance (sounds traditional but it is not) during Majlis Anugerah Cemerlang; euphoric moments =D.

*Got my driving license so can start drifting (wakakkaka) and also do Kosen-rufu. But did not atempt the former. Yet.

*Starbucks become my second home for studying. Actually, Starbucks is my ONLY place to study. Great study group too! Thanks to my U6K mates and Taman Sea's mates!!!

*Got myself a handphone: Sony Ericsson K810i which I ultilised its' features full blast. Now, I'm snapping anything that is snappable (wtf?).

*Got myself Sony NWZ-A726 Video MP3 player~~ Great DAC (digital to audio converter) and user friendly. Never hangs at all. Wooooooo~!!!

*Got myself Edifier S2.1/S330 speakers~~~ Best speakers I ever had! And combo it with my mp3 player... it is OMG-WTF-WTH-CCB-KNS-LMAO-LOL-ROFL chunnnnnn!!! =D

*Got myself MylarOne Bijou~~ Best earphones so far! But cannot use on the run, or else kena bang by car (it isolate every atmospheric sounds, so you will be hearing music only; dangerous nia...)

*Spent a lot of time in school almost everyday. Not because of assignments or what, but to hang out with friends. LOLZZZ!!! Miss U6K~!!!!!!

*Ong Tze Hong made it as finalist in So You Think You Can Dance season 2!!! Although not the winner, he is a champion to HAD!!! WOO~!!!

*Success in GFG Camp!!! Made the hardest-hardest-hardest-mother-of-all-hardest slideshow in my lifetime: Herbie Hancock!!! Had to spend my time like a 100km cycling marathon and see every aspect of the slideshow: the impact, climax, simplicity, emotions, etc. And it turns up well!!! (with minor hiccups) The crew of this camp is brilliant as well!!! Thanks to all who contribute to the success of this camp!!!

*Exhange Meet with SGM Malacca!!! Had lots of fun!!! And also learned their style of Gakkai spirit which is different from us. Kudos to the Malaccans!!!

*Success in end-of-the-year HSD Camp!!! First time it was held in big scale (involving whole Region 2: Honbu 1, 2, 3 and 4). Thanks to the committee ya!!! It is the stepping stone for 2009!!!

*STPM life rox!!! What more can I say? With great friends and great juniors, how can I go wrong in this?

Worst moments:

*Got into emotional breakdown for a few times 'cos really felt lost. Frustrated when thinking about my own future: follow my dad's footsteps (which is bright in terms of financial and makes my dad happy) or follow my own footsteps (which will be in my interest but not bright at all). Make up 30% of my depression.

*Did not study at all until after Malam Mesra 6.15 which is like July. And did not seriously study at all until November where I suddenly got into study groups.

*Feeling really f***ed up 'cos have to stop my ENTIRE Gakkai activities (which includes high school division, artistic dance, etc). Life is so freaking sucked without them. Make up another 30% of my depression.

*Dream to be and want badly to be a musician or at least be in the music field (like sound engineering, audio reproductions, etc) but TOTAL reject by my family. My parents feel so shameful to tell anyone that I have this dream. To them, it is a sin to have a son that have this dream. Not willing to fund or start piano class at all (I'm still grade one since I was 9 years old). Make up 30% of my depression too.

*Minorly depressed by issues like natural disaster, terrorist attacks, politics, and economy downfall. Make up 10% of my depression.

*Spent half of the year in depression. Especially after Malam Mesra 6.15 performance. Until now, still got some side effects, like bad tempered, more cursing, less optimistic, etc.

Yup. That's all. New year is the time to cherish the sweet past and forgive the sour past. The latter seems harder, but possible. =D

Happy New Year to everyone!!!
Smile always! But make sure you don't get cramps.

*Sigh* After the HSD Camp, I finally feel relieved. But There's so many things to catch up in the blog!! So, to solve this, I put random pictures; from HAD Concert (which is total success!) until HSD Camp (another total success!!!)

Voon Kuan and Wai Kit in front!
Tze Hong (From So You Think You Can Dance),
Joshua, and Soong Foong (fondly known as Sof!)

From Genting's Skyway. The view is AWESOME!
And my sister is acrophobia. She closed her eyes the whole 30 minutes! >.<
OMG! The Flying Coaster!!!
Never take this ride FIRST. Or else other rides become a bore.
I took this ride at 10am. The many next hours become a bore. Wtf.

Dinosaur Land! (Sounds like Daniel Siow Land)
I went for this boat ride when I was a baby!
Brings back many memories.

After HSD Camp rehearsal, P2 and P4 eat out in Prince Cafe.
From left: Jason, Kar Yin (hidden), Gin Nin, Atak,
Kok Hoe and Kar Wen (only 10% of his face).

Took this while attending Vis and Debbie's Wedding Dinner.
Instant earning and redemption?
Whoa, that's deep. =P

Vis and Debbie's wedding dinner in Tropicana Club House.
Where the houses are so big that it should be called fotresses.

Everyone is wild after the successful HSD Camp!
Jun Man and Fang Kai seems to fade into the photo. Wow.
=D
End of randomness here. =D

My grandpa has a mild stroke on Tuesday, prompting my family to go back to Malacca on Tuesday. That's right, we are that efficient.

We reached Malacca by 9pm. Feeling helpless seeing my grandpa being inactive. He was really health conscious and yet the stroke was due to high cholesterol . I mean, where the heck did the cholesterol come from??? Milo???

All of us feared that life is never going to be the same again. And also we were worried that the sudden change of lifestyle will discourage grandpa. How can he live on if his life was used to be very very independent? He always rejects our help because he can do anything by himself, e.g. buy groceries, transportation, carry heavy items at home, etc. Now he has be 300% less active than himself.

We got him admitted to the hospital the next day. We were all glad because he could finally get some sleep since his first stroke. We all took turns to watch him and I took care of him from 5pm to 7pm. Really pity him, because his daily life really based on his willpower to live. But now I can feel that he felt guilty for burdening his children.

Today my family left Malacca except for my mom who will be taking care of his father. The mood in the atmosphere is entirely different from last time. For the first time, I'm leaving Malacca feeling du-lan. Sigh.

Aiks. Grandpa, get well soon! Feel fortunate that your children is willing to come back and help you!

=D

Going to Genting next Tuesday. My family really revenge on this holidays.

*Gasp*

WALAO.

Went to Malacca again on Thursday. And came back on Friday. Just to give my grandpa a medicene which is Cordycerps. His seems doing well compared to his condition on Monday.

He was weak and disorientated because (better believe this) the doctor accidentally gave him overdose in medication. And to make matter worse, he CHANGED the medication as well. So from high blood pressure suddenly become TOO LOW blood pressure. Aiyoyo.

But by Thursday he is back to usual self: strong, fit, energetic, jovial... Very youthful for an 80-years old. See what wrong medication can do? Ishh...

On the side note, I realised one thing: I drove a total of almost 14 hours in this week: From KL to Batu Pahat, then back to Malacca, then back to KL, then go to Malacca once more, then back to KL again. The gearstick must have been sick of my hand. I could feel the steering wheel sulked at me. The rearview mirror looked as though it is going to break with the image of my face. That happens if car could talk.

Wow. Even my sanity is leaving me.

Lol. Lmao. Wth. Rofl.

Oh, what a holiday!

In only two days. Lol.

Monday we went to Batu Pahat, Johor. The roads at Pagoh is an ultimate test for the car's suspension. The villages were really nice. The hotel was great. Also, we visited the IMU hospital (read HUGE) and also his house (read small).

Tuesday I bought myself some clothes because it's dirt cheap (RM10 for a nice shirt? Questionable quality.) Then ate nasi briyani (with Chicken FOR A TOTAL FREAKING RM1. WHERE THE HELL CAN I GET THIS PRICE IN KL???). After that went to Malacca. Again, I bought myself some clothes (two different shopping mall in a day, walao). As usual, it is dirt cheap. In fact, 80% of my clothes in my wardrobe comes from Malacca. Stunning?

We went for the Malacca River Cruise. It was really fun, especially if you seat in front. The water splashing turned it into a water themepark. Great photoshoot of stunning scenery as well. Then sleepover in my auntie's house.

Next day, shopping again! (But not clothes, whew). And then go home.

I don't know why I got no mood to put colours and rearrange the post. Somehow I feel that this holiday is not a holiday at all. Going to be a busy one (HAD concert on 13 December, HSD camp on 29 December, JD Fun Day performance next year January. Siao leh.).

Soon gonna upload some photos from the trip. Lazy now.

Ah.

Ooo.

And my mom promised me to buy an Asus' Eee PC when I enter uni!!! Woot!!! =D

Oh my gudness, I want to go back dancing!!!! Grrr... (I lost much of my stamina and strength since September; training! =.=)

Trying to play Muse's Starlight on piano; sounds a little bit weird, but cool! Next song: Keane's Somewhere Only We Know. And I recommend anyone who plays a guitar or piano to try out Eagle Eye Cherry's Save Tonight. The song rocks on both!!!

I spending an entire night blogging, and it came out monochromatic.

I AM GETTING RANDOM. WHAT THE.

It's hard to get back to usual life.

I realized that I lost the sense of contributing back to the society. I feel NUMB.

Suddenly I'm ignoring about about people's feeling.

I want my old mood back! Boohoo!

And it's going to take time.

JD Fun Day, HSD Camp, HAD, homevisitations.

Work part time, work in event jobs, reunion with friends.

I want those days back again!

Sigh. Miserable.

To everyone out there, don't forgo your social life and good attitude just for a piece of paper that will consist of your results. You will regret when it's done.

Wtf. I'm emoing while watching Whose Line Is It Anyway on Youtube. Lol.

Thursday, December 04, 2008

Finally.

STPM is over.

I'm so Sicked and Tired and Pissed and Mad at the same time.

Somehow This Pressurized Me.

I want to Shoot The P*ki M*k.

ARGH.

Lol.

...

WHAT TIME IZZIT??!? SUMMER-TIME *HEY*!!!!

=.="

Oh my goodness. Three more paper to go.

My biggest fear: MACROECONOMY.

There's so many words in the textbook~!!! It's like reading Twilight for seven times. Or maybe three cycles of Lord of the Rings marathon reading.

I hate memorizing. My brain wasn't meant for this.

Tony Buzan, eat THIS. (throws crumpled papers of mind maps)

Shove THIS in the place where the sun doesn't shine. (... nevermind)

Oh, by the way. Please pray for the recovery of peace in Mumbai. Aftermath is obvious especially the ties between India and Pakistan. (Captured terrorist somemore openly says that he is a Pakistani. Walao, memang want to buat kacau.)

And also, please pray for the foreigners who got stuck in Bangkok. Anything can happen in Bangkok now. The war between Pro-government and Anti-government is somehow going too far, affecting the status of Bangkok as a tourist country. Please la, think about the future, not just the present. Sigh.

Oh, find out who is Charice Pempengco in Youtube. New singing sensation from Philippines. Unbelievable killer voice. (Andrea Bocelli and Celine Dion had already duet with her in concerts, WTH) That's what I call talent.

Suddenly so random. Lol. Rofl. Lmao. Wth.
