Welcome 2010!

Yeap, 2010 is finally here. A decade gone, just like that.

2009 was super eventful. I had fun in Malaysia (post-STPM period) with my family, friends, High School Division (HSD), Hibiscus Artistic Dance (HAD), Malaysia International Furniture Fair (MIFF), Galactic Future Group (GFG), etc. I totally missed those times where I have to rack my brain juice for many situations, where friends are everywhere, where fun is always in the air.

Then enters Singapore.

It's one of those moment where I experienced big changes in life. Realizations struck here and there. Reality hits hard. Many times I had voices in my head yelling, "GROW UP, YOU S.O.B.!" And no, I'm not saying that I don't like it. In fact, I totally ENJOYED it.

But entering the new year with my screwed up exams results of my 1st semester is not what I had in mind. Well, it's time to change. *brought to you by DiGi! 'I would follow you~~' ah yes I'm lame*

I suddenly think of something lame to post.

Adidas - its' for those people who are addicted to dust! (It just sounds like that)

Nike - its' what you scream when someone kicked your knee, and then your nuts. (If that person just kicked your knee, you would just scream "MY KNEE~!")

Lol. This thought came out in the middle of the night.

December is here!!!

And I'm feeling incredibly lazy.

Cold weather, exams over, laptop in front; these catalysts make a great combination.

And Robin from MJ gave a link to a website in the tagboard in our NTU MJ website. (Yes, we have a website!!! And a very cool one too!!! XD) The website he shared is www.singaporegotdance.com, which is very interesting and informative! To dancers out there, please visit it! =D

From now on, my only hobby is to listen to music, and do NOTHING. I have no idea why.

I think the sloths in South American are more hardworking than me.

Omg. This site just rocks my world. And it's a bad thing that I discovered this site in the middle of exams period. I wasted like 2 hours reading its' random contents. =P

Those who wants to laugh at others' bad luck, go check FML.

Q: How do to deal with examinations head-on?

A: Use your head la.

Yup. Not only it's random, but it's senseless as well. This is stress, taken to a whole new level.

Exams exist for some reasons.

1. To approximate how little you slept during lectures and tutorials.

2. It's a signal for you to clear the lectures notes and tutorials off your table (either by keeping it for your future juniors or make a campfire out of it) to make way for the future lecture notes and tutorials to come.

3. It's the only time where NTU will be too quiet. So strange the phenomena it should be a tourist attraction (wth).

4. To find out how bonded are you with Facebook.

5. To make sure that your calculator will not rust because of infrequent usage.

6. To express regrets over yourselves for choosing this particular course.

7. It's the only time where random blog posts seem to make sense.

8. It's the only time where you noticed the existence of your lecture notes.

I wished I could think of more reasons, but my mind is full of "C plus plus", "C plus plus", "C plus plus".

And nope, I'm not measuring my chest size.

Randomness is Unevitable

Let me present a theory:

Law of Randomness.

If one is being under an external force or stress, one will produce

randomness (either in verbal, action, just thinking, etc.)

with the magnitude equal to that of an external force or stress applied.

For example, if the examinations are approaching, lame jokes are frequently heard all over the campus. Or somebody is bound to do something random, like winking at the professor during lectures or showing peace sign and middle finger alternately at bus drivers. Or just thinking about when the world has finally come to the end, what will your favourite food be.

The art of randomness isn't hard to master. In FACT, it is the FACT of life. (no pun intended)

Ha ha ha. It's damn sad to be laughing alone in this blog post.
